Field Experience Overview

A few things about your field experience:

• Three of you are enrolled in EDU 298 during the final semester of your AAS degree.
• Seven of you are enrolled in EDU 348 - at the same time as some of your "methods" courses.
• We will meet every Tuesday at 3 PM in this location (ED B03) for one hour.
• You will not be required to purchase a text for this course but you will need a 1" binder.
• We will cover a different topic every class period. If you miss a class, you will not be able to make it up - so attendance is important.
• The EDU 298 people will be required to submit a weekly email reflection to me. It is due each week to me on or before 5 PM on Fridays of the same week.
• The EDU 348 people will NOT be required to submit a weekly email reflection to me because you will be journaling for your methods courses instructors (Brenda, Theresa & Randy). You will also be reporting to Leah and Colette by completing assignments during your field experiences for their courses.
• EDU 348 WILL be required to submit the number of field experience hours you completed each week to me on or before 5 PM on Fridays of the same week.  
• I have requested field placements for you. When I get a placement confirmed, I will contact you via email for "next steps".
• The syllabus for this course, or courses, will be available at my.uttc.edu within the week.
