Week Two - "Professional Conduct & Dispositions"

Today in class we're going to talk about professional conduct, what it is, and what types of behaviors we are expected to practice in order to be considered "professional".

We are also going to fill out schedules that we can share with our cooperating teachers for our field placements. This is the process for "next steps":

1. Contact Mr. Sam Azure, Principal, at TJES, about setting up an appointment with him to get assigned to a classroom. This will give you a chance to tell him which grade level you prefer and find out the name of the teacher with whom you will be placed.
2. Email the name of the teacher and the grade level to me. After I receive this information from you, I will send an email to you and your teacher with some basic information.
3. As soon as you receive my email, attempt to contact the teacher either via phone or email about setting up a time to visit with him or her.
4. Share your schedule with the teacher when you visit in person so s/he knows what time you have free. 
5. Remember - if you have Math with Theresa, you will need to be a in the classroom during Math time. If you have Language Arts with Brenda, you will need to be in the classroom during Language Arts time. And if you have P.E. with Randy, you will need to be in the classroom for a P.E. class. This means that you will NOT be in blocks of time, like in the past. Instead, you will be in the classroom at various times throughout the week.
